Moscow will evaluate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's "victory plan" to end the war when details of it are officially released, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Monday, as quoted by Reuters.

"We believe that one should not analyze media reports," Peskov said. "If information about it appears in official sources we will of course scrutinise it. There is a lot of contradictory and unreliable information on it out there, so we are very cautious about this."

Zelensky, who is visiting the US and will speak at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, is due to present the plan to US President Joe Biden and his two potential successors, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, according to Reuters.

When announcing last week the plan had been finalized, Zelensky suggested that the plan aims for a complete end to the conflict, and not a temporary solution such as a cease-fire that could be used to shift around troops and prepare for further conflict.

"There is, and can be, no alternative to peace, no freezing of the war, or any other manipulations that will simply shift Russian aggression to another stage," Zelensky has said. "We need reliable and long-term security for Ukraine, and, therefore, for all of Europe."
