Japan to donate biofuel manufacturing technology to spur new industry in Ukraine reconstruction

Japan plans to give biofuel manufacturing technology to Ukraine that would create a new type of industry from common agriculture byproducts as the war-torn nation rebuilds itself, Kyodo News reported.

At a meeting in Tokyo next month between private- and public-sector representatives from both countries, Japanese companies are expected to provide renewable energy production technology and related equipment to their Ukrainian counterparts, the news service said.
