Italy plans to help develop Ukrainian agriculture, invest €11 million in irrigation, small-scale farmers

Italy is ready to invest in the restoration and development of the Ukrainian agriculture sector, Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval said following a meeting with an Italian delegation.

The Italian Pro.UKR project will provide over €11 million to develop irrigation infrastructure, support cooperatives, give equipment to small farmers, and help integrate Ukraine's agribusiness into the European market, Koval said.
