IMF, Ukraine reach deal on loan arrangement, unlocking $1.1 billion disbursement

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Ukrainian authorities have reached a staff-level agreement on the sixth review of the four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) arrangement, granting Ukraine access to $1.1 billion in funding, subject to approval from the IMF board.

If approved, the agreement would bring the total disbursements to Ukraine under the program to $9.8 billion, the IMF said in a press release on Tuesday, noting that the board is expected to review the deal in the coming weeks.
