Germany will provide an additional €100 million in aid to Ukraine this winter, Reuters reported, citing German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Russia is once again planning a "winter war with the aim of making the lives of people in Ukraine as terrible as possible," Baerbock said during a visit to Moldova on Tuesday.

The pledge is part of Berlin's broader support for Kyiv, which has included both military and non-military assistance since the war began.

The new package comes as Ukraine faces harsh winter conditions, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis for millions of civilians, particularly in conflict-affected areas.
