Finland allocates €16 million in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine

Finland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it will allocate €16 million in humanitarian assistance to Ukraine as part of a broader €36.5 million aid package supporting refugee crises in Africa and the humanitarian situation in the Middle East.

The funds will be distributed through various UN agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross, the ministry said, adding that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine has deteriorated particularly on the front line.
