The European Investment Fund, part of the European Investment Bank Group, has put out a call for export credit agencies that want to work with its €300 million credit facility to promote exports from companies in European Union members to Ukraine.

The fund, the risk-capital subsidiary of the European Investment Bank Group, is offering guarantees for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and small mid-cap exports from the EU member states plus Iceland and Norway that want to export to Ukraine.

Now it's recruiting national export credit agencies in participating nations to act as its financial intermediaries under the facility, with a deadline for applications of Dec. 31, 2024.

The €300 million export credit guarantee facility was created in June by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank.
