The European Council said it has approved €3.5 billion as a third payment of repayable grants and loans to Ukraine under the €50 billion Ukraine Facility.
The approval follows the Council's assessment that Ukraine "had satisfied the necessary conditions laid down in the Ukraine Plan," according to a press release.
