EU to provide €1.5 billion monthly to Ukraine throughout 2025

The European Union (EU) will disburse Ukraine €1.5 billion each month throughout 2025 from the proceeds of Russian frozen assets, newly appointed European Council President Antonio Costa said on Sunday.

Costa also stated that the EU will in December provide Ukraine with €4.2 billion to support the country's budget. All these funds can also be used for military purposes, Costa noted.
