EU council approves Ukraine Plan changes, unlocking €8.3 billion in extra funding for 2026

European Union member states have approved changes to Ukraine's reform roadmap, paving the way for more than €8.3 billion in additional financial support to Kyiv in 2026 under the bloc's Ukraine Facility.

The Council of the European Union said it has adopted a decision amending the Ukraine Plan, which outlines the reforms Ukraine must complete to receive funding through the EU's flagship support programme.
