EIB approves business investment funding for Ukraine, Armenia, Poland

The European Investment Bank (EIB) said it approved €1.5 billion for the development of semiconductors, energy efficiency lighting, and digital financial inclusion, alongside supporting business investment in Ukraine, Armenia, and Poland.

The EIB provided no more details on the financing, which was announced Wednesday as part of a larger €10.3 billion EU-wide package that also included €4.1 billion funding for energy and water, €1.2 billion for education, health, and transport, as well as a €3 billion facility for agriculture.
