EIB allocates €60 million to revamping Ukraine's transport infrastructure

The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Friday it has provided over €60 million in EU guarantee-backed funding to support the reconstruction of Ukraine's transport infrastructure.

Of the total, €43.5 million will go towards the reconstruction of the Kyiv-Chernihiv-Novi Yarylovychi section of the M01 highways, while the remainder will be used for investments in new buses, trolleybuses, and trams for the cities of Kyiv, Odesa, and Sumy.
