Canada announced C$635 million ($460 million) in new financing and guarantees for Ukraine's energy security and reconstruction, alongside an agreement to establish a 100-year strategic partnership between the two countries.
Nearly C$435 million will be provided as new loan guarantees to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's office said following talks on Sept. 10 with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Calgary.
