Estonian defense company Frankenburg Technologies will start manufacturing its anti-drone missile systems in Ukraine, the company said on Monday in a post on LinkedIn.

"Expansion into Ukraine is the most important early strategic choice for Frankenburg," said Frankenburg co-founder Taavi Madiberk. "We will work tirelessly to launch our unique missile manufacturing in Ukraine to provide much-needed C-UAS assets to the warfighter."

Frankenburg said it named Sergiy Koshman as managing director of its Ukrainian operations. Koshman most recently led international cooperation and partnerships at the Ukrainian government-led defense innovation cluster Brave1. He has also served as head of the expert group for the Ukrainian president's office.

Founded in January, Frankenburg focuses on developing and producing innovative, mass-production-ready air defense systems, including missiles.
