A new intelligence service for Ukraine’s reconstruction

Hi. Adam Brown here, the former Bloomberg editor who founded Ukraine Rebuild Newswire.

I’m reaching out about a new intelligence service I’m developing for organizations involved in rebuilding Ukraine – government agencies, multilaterals, IFIs, DFIs, law firms, construction companies, manufacturers, foreign investors, developers, and others.

Over the past two years, I’ve been stunned by the amount of valuable information that surfaces in small, unreported online events — the hundreds of trade-group Zoom calls, donor consultations, regulatory workshops, logistics briefings, investor discussions, academic panels, legal updates, and sector-specific webinars.

These events are not covered by media or searchable in any database, yet they consistently reveal useful details on funding, regulation, supply chains, stakeholder sentiment, operational risks, and more. We've seen as many as 3–5 events a day at peak times, and I’ve personally attended more than 50 of them – all focused on the business of rebuilding Ukraine.

I’m now building The Whole News Company to monitor these overlooked events (in English and Ukrainian) and deliver concise, tailored intelligence aligned with the unique priorities of each client.

How it works

My team of journalists, trained at Reuters, Bloomberg and other top-tier outlets, attends hundreds of online events, including many that require invitations, pre-registration, or membership.

After a short onboarding session where you detail your priorities, we begin scouting for intelligence that advances your interests, such as:

  • Advance hints of regulatory or policy changes affecting your portfolio, clients, operations, or programs.
  • Early awareness of funding decisions and procurement plans, helping you position for opportunities, bids, partnerships, or deals.
  • Mentions of your organization, partners, competitors, or potential clients to support business development or risk assessment.
  • Ground-level insight from implementers and operators, useful for due diligence, advisory work, feasibility studies, or market entry.
  • Signs of stakeholder sentiment across donors, ministries, industry, and civil society, supporting negotiation, planning, and strategy.
  • Transcripts, audio, and slide decks from hard-to-access events to inform internal analysis, client memos, or compliance reviews.

(For example, URN learned in a past event that Ukraine’s Black Sea war-risk insurance facility would expand from covering grain to covering all cargo. The $20 billion development was revealed casually in a small webinar with no media present – two days before the government announced it. Others have revealed new logistics issues, strategies for importing labor, new investment plans from DFIs, and more.)

Quick question

Would you like me to send you a short coverage map showing the types of Ukraine-rebuild events we track and the kinds of commercial, legal, or strategic intelligence they could yield for your organization?

If so, simply reply to this message with a YES and I'll get back to you.

P.S.

Our Ukraine-focused service is the pilot for a larger global business I’m launching. To view our one-pager and other information about the broader business plan, visit this link.
