A new intelligence service for Ukraine’s rebuilders – investors, IFIs, governments and more

The founding team behind Ukraine Rebuild Newswire is launching a new, first-of-its-kind intelligence service built for Ukraine’s rebuilders — investors, government agencies, IFIs, diplomats, law firms, builders, manufacturers, and others operating in this fast-shifting environment.

Over the past two years, our staff has found that high-value intelligence is revealed daily in small online events that nobody monitors.

These include donor consultations, trade-association webinars, legal and regulatory briefings, logistics discussions, academic panels, procurement workshops, and sector-specific Zoom calls.

They are usually attended by only a few dozen people, yet they routinely contain key signals about regulation, funding, supply chains, risk, and stakeholder sentiment that never appear in the media or any searchable database. In peak periods, as many as 3–5 such events occur every day. Last month alone, there were more than 80 such events.

To capture this overlooked stream of information at scale, we have created The Whole News Company — a multilingual intelligence operation that monitors online events in both English and Ukrainian and delivers concise, client-specific insight.

How the Service Works

Our team — trained at Bloomberg, Reuters, and other top global newsrooms — works full time covering relevant events, including those requiring invitations, membership, or pre-registration. We ask questions, record sessions (where permitted), and analyze each discussion using your organization’s priorities.

After an onboarding call, we begin tracking signals relevant to your goals, such as:

  • Early indications of policy or regulatory changes affecting your operations, clients, or portfolio.
  • Advance visibility into funding decisions, procurement plans, tenders, and investment priorities.
  • Mentions of your organization, competitors, partners, or prospects during sector discussions.
  • Ground-level insight from project implementers, logistics operators, local authorities, or DFIs — useful for due diligence, feasibility studies, or advisory work.
  • Real-time indicators of stakeholder sentiment across ministries, donors, civil society, and industry.
  • Access to transcripts, audio, and slide decks from hard-to-reach events to support internal analysis and compliance reviews.

This approach has already yielded exclusive intelligence — for example, confirmation in a small, unpublicized webinar that Ukraine’s Black Sea war-risk insurance facility would expand from grain to all cargo, unlocking an estimated $20 billion in annual trade. No media were present; the information surfaced only because we were in the room.

Similarly, lightly attended discussions have revealed emerging logistics bottlenecks, new investor strategies, early-stage DFI plans, and granular insights into customs, labor shortages, and reconstruction law that organizations cannot obtain through open-source monitoring.
